Where it all started

Makeup has always been more than a skill for me — it's been a form of self-expression, confidence, and art. I started my journey as a self-taught makeup artist, spending countless hours perfecting techniques, studying faces, and falling deeper in love with the craft. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into a professional calling.

Over the years I've worked with clients across South Africa, building a reputation for clean, wearable looks that celebrate natural beauty while making every person feel like the best version of themselves.

Why I started teaching

The more I grew, the more I realised how many people wanted to learn — not just to do their own makeup, but to build real skills they could use every day or even turn into a career. I saw a gap: quality, hands-on makeup education that was accessible, practical, and actually fun.

That's why I created the beats by boity masterclasses. I wanted to share everything I know in an environment that feels warm, encouraging, and real — not intimidating. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to level up, there's a seat at my table for you.
